What are Portfolios?
A look at what portfolios are and how you can create an investment portfolio.
Portfolio is the term used to describe your investments and other assets.
It is more than a collection of receipts or digital passport that stamps transactions. It’s something much more, a flourishing financial organism! It’s a place where you can monitor the overall return on all your investments from the beginning.
You’ll see what stocks are thriving, where you might be overexposed and possible gaps when you’re trying to diversify.
Tips and tricks
Comparing your portfolio alongside available company figures (including growth, revenue etc) will help guide your investments decisions. So don’t be afraid to keep it, sell it, or buy more. The sky’s your limit.
Investing involves risk. You aren't guaranteed to make money, and you might lose the money you start with.
